Alaska King Salmon are one of the most sought after sport fish in the world. Each year, thousands travel from all over, to get a chance at these monsters. You will have the chance to fish two of the premiere Alaska King Salmon runs: The Naknek River & The Nushagak River. You will also have the opportunity to travel to the world famous Katmai National Park/Brooks Fall. The Naknek and the Nushagak are in full swing the first week of June to the end of July and huge Alaska king salmon are plentiful. These king salmon will put the most experienced anglers to the test.

The Naknek River offers world-class angling opportunities at trophy rainbow trout, arctic char, grayling, northern pike, lake trout, dolly varden and all 5 species of salmon including king salmon, silver salmon, sockeye, chum, and pinks. The Nushagak River is known as one of the best Alaska king salmon fisheries. This beautiful remote river offers the largest Alaska king salmon run each year. More than 200,000 Alaska king salmon migrate up the Nush each summer. King salmon on the Nush average around 20-25 pounds but can reach weights over 50 pounds. The Naknek and the Nushagak are in full swing the first week of June to the end of July and huge Alaska king salmon are plentiful.

While visiting Brooks Fall, located in the world- famous Katmai National Park , you will experience wildlife that will take your breath away. Brooks Fall is world renowned for the incredible brown bear viewing opportunities. The majority of the TV programs featuring Grizzly bears in Alaska were filmed in Brooks fall. An additional option while visiting Brooks Fall is to take a guided bus tour in the Valley of 10,000 smokes. The Valley of 10,000 Smokes is the site of the world's largest volcanic eruption this century. The plane ride into these locations is worth the cost alone. The Bristol Bay region offers some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Make sure you bring lots of film!!! While visiting any of the three locations, your chances of seeing additional wildlife such as Grizzly bears, wolf, caribou, and moose is always a possibility.

Day 2- Fish the Naknek River for/Lodging at the Cliffhouse Lodge
Day 3- Fish the Naknek River for Lodging at the Cliffhouse Lodge
Day 4- Experience Brooks Falls for the day
Day 5- Fish the Nushagak River/lodge stay on the Nushagak River
Day 6- Fish the Nushagak River/lodge stay on the Nushagak River
Day 7- Fish the Nushagak River/lodge stay on the Nushagak River
